Girld Guides of Canada is the organization of choice for Canadian girls and women, with 100,000 members from coast to coast.

December 2005 This fall has been very busy for the 1st Orleans Scout Group. All our Sections have gone to camp with the exception of the Beavers. The Cubs went to a Cubaree, the Scouts had Medic Alert Camp and the Venturers and Rovers took part in ROVENT.

Another busy Guiding year has started and the 2nd Orleans Girl Guides are getting ready for their biggest Community Service Project ever. This year, our girls will combine their regular Christmas gift bag project with “The Year of the Veteran” and will make Christmas gift bags for the residents of the Perley & Rideau Veterans Health Centre.
