Welcome to the Queenswood Heights Community Association's web site. It is divided into a public component which talks about what QHCA is all about, facilities and services in our area, community events and notices, etc. There will also be a members' only area which will have an electronic version of the Newsliner and other items of interest to our members.

Cumberland Nature Trails (The Ravine)If you are new to Ottawa and the east end, welcome to Queenswood Heights. I am sure that you will find it is one of the finest communities you have ever lived in. There is something for everyone here. If you have been in the area for some time, there are things on this site of interest to you as well.

Obviously, we hope that all residents of Queenswood Heights will become members of the community association and will also become volunteers for the many recreational and other organizations active in our community. A community association membership will entitle you to access the members' only portion of this web site as well as the opportunity to take part in the Children's Christmas Party, the Easter Colouring Contest, and attend the Citizen of the Year and Volunteer appreciation Night reception. Your membership also gives you an active voice, through your Association, on municipal government or school board matters that you are concerned may affect your lifestyle. While the Association does not try to supplant the role or responsibilities of an elected Councillor or School Board Trustee, the Association does help in monitoring what goes on in our community and in communicating the consensus of opinion of Association members.

Again, welcome to the Queenswood Heights Community Association web site. Have fun.

President, QHCA
