Your community association mandate is as follows:
  1. To Promote, Advance, and Protect the interests of The Queenswood Heights Community and to Support Peace and Good Order,
  2. To keep the Membership informed, through The Newsliner of all important issues affecting the Community,
  3. umberland Nature Trails (The Ravine)
  4. To Relate and Recommend the wishes of the Membership to Cumberland Council and to Discuss and Advise the Council on all matters affecting Queenswood Heights
  5. To Provide Community Representation to City Committees, including Planning, Adjustment, and Economic Development,
  6. To Provide Community Representation to Regional Government,
  7. Maintain a Direct Link to Provincial and Federal affairs through regular meetings with our elected representatives,
  8. Work closely with other Community Groups to Co-ordinate activities, including Neighbourhood Watch and The Block Parent Program,
  9. Support Community Groups and activities with funds when needed,
  10. Support the employment of the Community Centre Key Agent with funds,
  11. Sponsor the Boy Scout programme in Queenswood Heights,
  12. Maintain regular communication with other Community associations in Cumberland and in Gloucester to ensure common goals,
  13. Sponsor public meetings, including Municipal, School, Regional, Provincial, and Federal "All Candidate" meetings,
  14. Conduct an annual children's Christmas Party and Easter Colouring Contest.
  15. Provide free Classified advertising in The Newsliner to members and free advertising to Community Groups.
  16. Provide Photocopying service to the Membership,
  17. Provide at cost, supplies and duplicating services to Community Groups in Q. Heights.
  18. Honour Community Volunteers by Sponsoring a Community Citizen of The Year Award, and by Awarding Certificates of Appreciation to outstanding members of The Community,
  19. To Organize,promote, and support Community Activities which will foster good citizenship.
